Way Out West Collective celebrates the musical legacy of the legendary jazz vocalist Tony Bennett in what would have been his hundredth year.
The late Tony Bennett enjoyed a remarkable career spanning seven decades. He sold over 50 million records worldwide and received many accolades, including 20 Grammy Awards and a Lifetime Achievement Award. Over the years Bennett collaborated with multiple jazz and pop artists, including Bill Evans and Count Basie, Stan Getz, Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin, Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder.
This special programme will feature a selection of songs closely associated with Tony Bennett, such as ‘Stranger in Paradise’, ‘You Must Believe in Spring’, ‘Who Can I Turn To?’, ‘I Left My Heart in San Francisco’ and more, paying homage to one of the defining voices of jazz!

Way Out West (WoW) is a collective of musician/composer/bandleaders based in West London which celebrated its 20th anniversary last year. The membership is multi-generational and encompasses a wide range of jazz styles including bebop, swing, fusion and free/improvised.
